CFO Needed - Non Profit We are currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Mahoning County not-for-profit organization. Reporting to the Executive Director, the CFO will be responsible for oversight of the fiscal functions of the agency in accordance with GAAP and various regulatory qualifications. In general, the CFO will successfully manage purchasing, funding, accounting, finance and payroll functions. He or she will develop and monitor the annual budget, coordinate the agency's property, liability and health insurance programs, and assist in policy development, planning and decision-making processes. Prerequisites for this exceptional opportunity include hands-on experience managing fiscal policies within the non-profit sector, experience developing financial structures, budget development and grant application/administration, uncovering new funding sources within the non-profit sector and managing current funding sources. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement is highly desired. Applicants for the role of CFO should possess an MBA and/or CPA (or similar certification) along with at least 10yrs experience as a leader/financial executive with a experience in not-for-profit accounting.
